October 25th we arrived at night and found a free dock space at Tuzi Gazi Marina, where we tied up and shut down the engine at 1 a.m. We then opened a bottle of bubbly to celebrate another ocean crossed successfully. We are very happy to be docked. Although this passage was relatively benign, the last day we encountered two terrific electrical storms, the likes we've never seen before, much less been in. The lightning was continual. As we were motoring at the time we were not concerned with the wind. We were beelining as fast as possible to the 200m line before a wind shift from the SW. We never did get any SW wind. It was mostly a downwind or reach sail. We really did have a great window. Now we are going to concentrate on land cruising during the month of November.
